Hi MAD Members,

 

Well 2008 is quickly drawing to a close, I hope you enjoyed your training and racing in 2008, for me it was a year like no other, every race seemed to be cold and wet - starting in April with Hayle Middle Distance, the first time I'd raced in a long sleeve cycling top, it was freezing. Then my Iron Man race in July was probably the wettest conditions I had raced in - all in all, like a I said, a year like no other.

 

So if you raced in 2008, no doubt you would have raced in similar conditions, so well done.

 

I know from the emails on the eGroup that many of you have started planning for 2009 and part of that organisation hopefully will include renewing your membership to MAD Tri.

 

We currently have 30 adult members and our numbers continue to grow, mainly via enquires through the website which is a great asset to us, but also because people see you wearing your MAD Tri tee-shirts and are keen to come along, join us, and take part in races.

 

On the subject of tee-shirts, as an incentive to those who renew their membership promptly from January 2009, as a reward, we would like to give adult members a free tee-shirt. Numbers are limited so it will be 1st come, 1st served.

 

We also have a limited number of the original black tee shirts available, so if you would prefer and black is your colour, you can have one of those rather than the MAD red shirts.

 

So please don't delay and miss out on a free shirt, please renew your membership as early as possible in January.

 

 

Membership fees are as followed:

Annual membership costs just £20 Adult, or £40 Family. Junior membership at £5 is only available for children of adult members. Membership fee pro-rated from January.

Family membership covers two adults and two children.

We can accept payment in the form of a cheque or cash to Sarah or Phil, unfortunately we do not offer payment by Paypal or Credit Card.
