A small hardy contingent for this Sunday cycle. At 10 a.m. it was still -3 degrees and frosty hence the stylish head gear and whimpy foot warmers. The long spin up Hackpen Hill was glorious in the sunshine and the descent was taken very cautiously, by some... The journey down to Broad Town, Lower Compton, Cherhill and home via the A4 added up to 33 miles and took a casual 2 hours 20. Long enough to justify an afternoon by the fire watching the footy.
