Welcome to Mad-tri

Welcome to the website of the Marlborough and District Triathlon Club. (more aptly known as Mad-tri). We hope you will find the site interesting, informative and inspirational!

The club is an ever-increasingly band of enthusiastic and active individuals of mixed age and ability. The main  objective is to enjoy the combined challenges od swimming, cycling and running.

MAD Tri Club is an adult club affiliated to the British Triathlon Association and meets regularly for swim, bike and run sessions. Whatever your standard, whatever your goals, you will benefit from training with other like minded and friendly people .We welcome complete beginners through to the more competitive athlete. Our regular swim sessions take place at Marlborough Leisure Centre. The club meets for bike rides at weekends during the winter, with extra evening sessions during the spring and summer. This is an adult club however we accommodate accompanied children over the age of 8 where possible.

08/04/2008      Triathlon is not a winter activity.

Due to snow on the roads Hungerford was cut down to a Duathlon of 400m swim, blow dry the hair and a 2+ mile run. I think most time was spent in transition putting the snow boots on.  Well done all that survived.
